Hey everybody, glenzo here. I just wanted to try and gauge how many of you would be up for Hot Air Balloon rides at or near the festival site?  I am in the process of setting something up with a local outfit and we are looking at about $20 per person per "quick" ride (i.e. 1 to 2 hour rides).

What do you all think?  Are you willing to pay $20 per trip?  It'd be pretty awesome to see the Canyonlands and the La Salles from the air, not to mention how sick it would be to see the festival!

Cheerio!

I'm pretty sure beer is mandatory!

We are working out the logistics and hopefully will be able to set up just down the road (literally across from the entrance gate) in the big BLM sage field.  So...

I am trying to figure out tethered flights, we would only float up about 100ft. or so...hang out...drink a beer, safety sesh, listen to tunes, and check out all the kids in the desert!  Then back to terra firma for the next load.

Pray now for great weather and no wind!!!!
