Join Moab-area non-profit conservation organization, Plateau Restoration for a guided tour of Arches National Park. The tour is conducted by Plateau Restoration staff, which includes a former Arches Park Ranger and a leading local geologist. We will hike off-the-beaten path and visit world-famous arches. Throughout the day you learn about the geology, local history and native plants, as well as issues of the Park. The day will include a small volunteer project, an opportunity to give something back, in addition to a hearty, healthy lunch and outstanding educational handouts. Join Moab area non profit, Plateau Restoration for a fun filled raft trip on the Fisher Towers section of the Colorado River near Moab. This will be a high water trip so the rapids will be loads of fun. Our guides will share their knowledge of local geology, river history and stories of river runners during our float. A classic introduction to Moab riding! Rim Tours' guides will lead you on dirt and slickrock terrain as you travel along the rim of a canyon near the boundary of Arches National Park. We learn some slickrock skills and stop at various viewpoints with arches in the distance and the abyss of canyons in the foreground.
