Street Team
We hope you are as excited as we are for the upcoming 2011 Desert Rocks Festival. We would love your help spreading the word, both on the streets with handbills and posters but also online with links, banners, videos, mp3s, and other digital assets. We will be offering rewards to the festival once you send quality feedback and get enough "points" for your work. Joining the street team is a great way to become part of the rapidly growing Desert Rocks Crew.
We are looking for a group of responsible volunteers to help with:
• hanging posters and passing out handbills in advance of Desert Rocks 2011
• talking up the festival on social networking websites (posting dates, discussing our sound, community, values, etc.)
• keeping ears to the ground about relevant happenings in our communities
• communicating with other street teamers about specific radio programs, newspaper columns, and other media that might be excited to learn more about the festival
• requesting that local radio stations and venues showcase our music!
Besides the warm and fuzzy feeling you’ll get from helping a festival and community you’ve grown to love, we can offer a limited number of free / discounted tickets and other goodies to those who spread the word. Please send questions and concerns to Jon!
